brainwashing ft. tramharmonie
We are very excited to bring the new compostion BRAINWASHING from Marco Pütz to Amsterdam. We collaborate with the Tramharmonie to present this emotional rollercoaster for saxophone quartet and orchestra in the Zuiderkerk on May 24.
BRAINSWASHING, was composed in 2023 on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Luxembourg & Amstel Quartet. This piece may be understood as a psychological manipulation set to music. From a psychological point of view, Brainwashing consists of three successive phases, which can be followed in the music:
1) Dependency 2) Dissonance 3) Attitude Change
