"Deze zondagavond stond in het teken van twee wereldpremières in de Verkadefabriek. Allereerst was er de Amerikaanse musicus en saxofonist Steve Coleman. Voor een optreden in 2016 schreef hij al eerder een compositie voor November Music. “En nu vragen ze me weer, dus ze zullen het wel goed gevonden hebben”, grapte hij. Deze keer schreef hij een prachtig stuk ‘s nh djdj (Was Ankh Djed) voor het Amstel Quartet en hemzelf, waarbij het publiek in de volle Clubzaal op het puntje van de stoel ging zitten....
