Amstel Quartet shows the broad range of Baroque music, with authentic works of the era, along with modern, Baroque inspired compositions. Featuring works by Reza Namavar, Michael Nyman, and Maxim Shalygin, but also greats such as Telemann, Bach, and Vivaldi. In addition to the standard saxophone quartet configuration, the Amstel Quartet will also use extra soprano saxophones for fresh versions of these Baroque masterworks.
