The Seven Chakras, originally written for string quartet, for the saxophones of the Amstel Quartet. Live electronics and light effects are an integral part of the piece. The composition comprises seven parts, inspired by non-musical sources, including the elements earth, water, fire, and air. The mood is meditative and spiritual. Also because of the impact of the electronics and lights, the work tends to make a lasting impression on the audience. Ideal food for the ears and eyes on a late night before you head for home, transformed.
