Be a witness to the Amstel Quartet's first experiments with electronics: their attempt to use guitar effects as a way to transform the sound of the traditional saxophone quartet into Adolphe Sax's most fantastic invention, the sax-organ! With today's electronic possibilities, it is much easier to undertake the sax-organ project than it was for Adolphe Sax himself. He never realised the enormous organ just outside of Paris, which was meant to be heard throughout the entire city.
